Tekki Shodan in the park

Today was an incredible day for our Tekki Shodan practice in the park! As the sun beamed down and the birds chirped, excitement filled the air. It was wonderful to see everyone come together, eager to enhance their skills while soaking in the refreshing atmosphere.

The setting was perfect. Being outdoors not only lifted our spirits but also improved our focus and concentration.

Focused Practice Before the Main Event

Before the main session, Elif and Yingtai had an extra practice concentrating on Shodan kumite. This segment was especially beneficial, allowing them to refine sparring techniques and strategies. During this time, both Elif and Yingtai, took the opportunity to ask questions. Elif and Yingtai's dedication is truly motivating.

As the main session began, participants worked on Tekki Shodan in pairs to start with. It was great to see both beginners and advanced practitioners collaborating, sharing tips, and supporting each other.

As the session progressed, the focus switched to team practice. From beginners to advanced practitioners this kata proved to be a perfect opportunity to practice together as one team.

Celebrating Our Community Spirit

Today’s Tekki Shodan in the park exemplified the spirit of martial arts and our community. A huge thank you goes out to Natalie Sensei for this session, getting everyone moving and working together. It’s days like these that highlight the importance of community, practice, and the joy we find in martial arts.
