Huge well done to Elif, Yingtai, Hazel, Maryse and Natalie who travelled to Chester today to train with Julie & John Sensei at Vicars Cross Shotokan Karate Club. We all learned so much, and loved catching up with our wider karate family. Brilliant energy in the dojo this week! We kicked things off by sharpening our turns in kata, then teamed up for some Kata Buddies training - great focus, and teamwork all round. Most students have picked their grading kata to perfect with their buddy, and the progress is already showing! Our senior grades also started work on a brand-new team kata at Abbeydale dojo - we began “parting the clouds”. Enjoy the short break, and we’ll be back in the dojo on 1st November at 10am —
