A very educational open Kumite training with Steve Bailes Sensei at Soncho Karate Club for brown & black belts.
Steve Sensei demonstrated his fantastic teaching skills and shared his positive energy and passion for karate with everyone.
With this being an educational and interactive session the focus was on the dan grading kumite, Natalie and Maryse received plenty of support as they are preparing for their grading and loads of tips to take away. Thank you to Alice from Kanshin Karate Club and our friend Paul for joining us, it was lovely to have you train with us, partner up with you and catch up too!
It has been a year like no other with a real sense of karate community coming together and supporting Natalie & Maryse on their journey for the past 12 months!
We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support we have received from our very understanding club members, families and friends, clubs that have allowed us to train with them, senior instructors sharing their knowledge and expertise giving us training tips, individual detailed training plans focussing on Sandan grading by the national squad coaches, invitations to many different events and courses, and senior instructors coming to teach in the club.
As Steve Sensei said a pure karate community magic. Thank you everyone for all your support and we look forward to more opportunities to train together next year.
