And a huge well done to Viraaj, Elif, Isaac, Zoë, and Marius for stepping onto the mat and giving their absolute best — you all made us incredibly proud!
We couldn’t ask for more from today. Some of you came home with medals, others didn’t — but remember this: in karate, we never lose, we learn. Every flag, every point, every match is part of your journey to becoming stronger, sharper, and more confident.
You all showed courage, respect, and spirit — the true essence of karate. Take what you’ve learned today, bring it back to the dojo, and let’s build on it together.
A heartfelt thank you to Maryse Sensei for her incredible support throughout the day. Your dedication and genuine care for everyone truly shone through. You went above and beyond to make sure every student felt supported, encouraged, and ready to perform.
Also, a big thank you to Jakub, Oliver, and Marius for their help and encouragement — you all made a huge difference. Your teamwork, positivity, and energy embodied the very best of our dojo spirit.
And last but certainly not least — congratulations to Natalie Sensei on passing her C Class Referee qualification! Your knowledge, composure, and passion for competition karate (and your experience as an athlete) really stood out today.
We’re so proud of each and every one of you. Days like today remind us why we do what we do. Onwards and upwards, team — the journey continues!
